Everyday Zen:
Zazen nourishing study
study nourishing zazen
both nourishing Shoaku Makusa.

Shoaku Makusa:
Refraining from evil,
carrying out all
sorts of good,
clarifying the mind,
becoming a responsible
human being.

Shoaku Makusa
nourishing everyday zen.
Putting on our socks……
the heart/mind
of just this!

Morning Zazen Reflection Across the World

Entering the day

Stillness envelopes the air

Dog snores with Buddha

To join the worldwide sanga provides a hopeful pause of connection and depth of practice. Residing in breath to breath is a reminder that in my day to day, the practice does not end with zazen bells.
