UPCOMING: Samu & Lunch for Pergola Project

Upon completing our new Ando Path project, we will begin building a new pergola in front of the Sangha House kitchen. Our sangha member Margaret Saiten (西天) Tighe has kindly designed the new structure for gathering under shade when spring/summer temperatures rise. We invite you to join us for this modest construction project. No nails will be used at all but only screws and bolts for assembly. Anyone comfortable using wrenches or screw guns on a ladder is well-qualified for lending us a helping hand with this project. Please sign up at your earliest convenience and join us for this uplifting, non-arising event.

Work Shifts: Morning (9am–12 noon) and/or afternoon (1:30–3:30pm) shifts

What to Bring: A pair of work gloves if you have them, but we have gloves available.

Lunch: Informal vegetarian lunch will be served at noon.

No professional construction experience necessary. RSVP to offer your hands of compassion!
