THIS FRIDAY: Join Us for Fusatsu Atonement Ceremony

Message from Roshi on Fusatsu Ceremony

I urge you to actively participate on site. This ancient ceremony will offer you a spiritual foundation to help you, families, friends, and the whole world in our everyday lives. You will feel the sense of Samgha/Community doing it as one body—which has the strength of harmony that we are not alone.

I, personally, over 50 seasons have always wanted our Samgha/Community to directly experience this Fusatsu At-one-ment Ceremony. Only when you engage in it, you will feel its benefits as it’s in accord with the Principles of the UNIVERSE....

Atonement Ceremony is a Buddhadharma training—Blessing from the teacher and a ritual of chanting, bowing, purification, and renewal of vows/direction. Traditionally practiced on the full moon, Fusatsu is one of the most beautiful and profound ceremonies in the Zen tradition. Together, we acknowledge our karmic entanglements and hindrances, at-one for the beginningless greed, anger, and ignorance—restoring harmony and happiness. Read more.
