Join Us This Week | Dharma Talk & Kids Community Saturday, December 12th —Online Saturday Community 6:30 – 7:00 a.m. Morning Zazen (link to Zoom) 10:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Zazen 11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. ​Dharma talk by Jakusho Kwong-roshi, founding abbot of SMZC | BY DONATION ($10 suggested donation for non-members)   Saturday Community Link Saturday, December 12th — Kids Community ON SITE at SMZC 10:30 – 11:45 a.m. MEMBERS ONLY EVENT THIS YEAR (Space Limited) Bring your kids for a morning in the outdoors at Sonoma Mountain Zen Center. A special opportunity for the whole family to explore this peaceful space. We will meet outside the upper parking lot for a short guided sitting followed by a quiet hike through the woods. The entire event will be outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, each child must have their mask and be accompanied by an adult. Social distancing will be observed during the event. We only have a few slots available, so please register ahead of time. Mike Genrei (left with his kids) and Jessi Jinbun—both long-time students of Roshi—will be your host for this event.   HOW TO SIGN UP: Read our safety protocol.
