Kanzeon House Gets a New Roof!

We need your help to accomplish this project! One of the major projects underway this year at Sonoma Mountain Zen Center is to give the  Kanzeon House a new roof. The Kanzeon House also went by the name the “Middle House” in years past. The house has not been re-roofed for more than 35 years. For years it has been leaking in the winter time and cannot go any longer due to causing water damage to its structure. This is where Nyoze, Kashin and Ejo, their son reside.    We will be removing shingles, plywood sheathing and cleaning out the attic for a fresh start before buttoning up with a new roof. We need volunteers to fill slots from 8am-12noon &/or 1-4pm on the following days:   Sunday, June 26 Monday, June 27   Please email the office with days and time slots you can come help: office@smzc.org
